You have a client who has hired your firm
to design a metal roof for his own home. Your client is very particular
about the look and type of material, which should be used on his house.
Should the material be Pre-finished aluminum or steel, Copper, Terne Coated
Stainless Steel (TCSII), or Stainless Steel? Should the roofing panel
be structural or architectural? Should we use plywood or purlins? What
is UL-90 and will our roof meet the criteria? In designing a metal roof,
these types of questions often arise during the development of the project.
Our presentation should help in educating
the learner and he or she will be able to answer a few of these questions.
